How do I select a clinician?

You will be provided with a list of clinicians who have already reviewed your case and feel they are a good fit to help you with your next step in the care journey.  We understand that there are multiple factors that individuals seeking care consider when choosing a clinician, so this information is available for each clinician you are considering.  There are three main ways you can sort the list of clinicians:

• Match Score – This score is calculated based on how well the clinician’s diagnostic skills are matched to your unique set of symptoms.  This score goes from 1 to 100, however, you will only be matched with clinicians meeting a minimum threshold. Learn more about the match score.
• Availability – Estimated number of weeks for the next available appointment.  This value is entered by the clinician at the time they reviewed your case, but can change if there is a delay in responding to them.
• Distance – This is approximately how far the clinician is from your zip code.  This does not take into account travel time or road conditions.
