Headaches and migraine can sometimes happen along with dizziness. They can also make it harder to work, go to school, do chores, or enjoy time with family and friends. The MIDAS asks about how headaches have affected your daily life over the past 3 months. Your score does not give a diagnosis, but it can help show how much headaches may be affecting you and help guide a conversation with a healthcare provider.

Why use the MIDAS?

The Migraine Disability Assessment Test (MIDAS) helps clinicians understand how much headaches or migraine may be affecting a patient’s daily life. It asks about missed or reduced activity at work, school, home, and social activities over the past 3 months. The MIDAS does not diagnose the cause of headaches or dizziness, but it can provide useful context when headaches, migraine, or migraine-related dizziness are part of the clinical picture. It can also be used to track patient-reported change over time.
