How was the technology developed?

The matching algorithm was developed as part of a research at the Mayo Clinic lead by Drs. Jeffery Stabb, Neil Shepard, Scott Eggers, and Devin McCaslin.  Their team was trying to solve the same issue that happens outside their system which is that individuals bounce around between specialists for months before getting a diagnosis.  You can read the full research paper called Development of an Automated Triage System for Longstanding Dizzy Patients Using Artificial Intelligence.  This scientific, validated approach ensures that recommendations are based on clinical expertise, not advertising or guesswork.
